Are you looking for a massage therapist in San Diego?

Massage therapy is a technique that involves using different movements and pressures to manipulate muscles and other soft tissue structures in the body. The practice works by increasing blood flow within the body, restoring flexibility, and promoting healing in the related muscles and joints. It also helps to decrease inflammation and pain by slowing down your nervous system to decrease stress and tension, relieve symptoms, and support your overall wellness.

Whatever your reason for seeking massage and body work, we have someone who can help you. Read more about the technique below or book your appointment online today.

Massage Techniques

Our massage therapists offer many different techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, sports massage, cupping, Tui na, LomiLomi, and cranial sacral therapy.

  • Deep Tissue Massage uses slow, controlled strokes with firm pressure to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia
  • Trigger Point Therapy uses focused pressure to locate trigger points and release muscle spasms
  • Swedish Massage involves more of the superficial tissue by applying long strokes, kneading strokes, as well as rhythmic tapping strokes
  • Sports Massage focuses on soft tissue therapy, targeting muscles used in a specific sport
  • Cupping Therapy helps relieve muscle tension by using a suction mechanism to increase blood flow to the area where the cups are placed
  • Tui na stimulates the flow of qi to promote balance and harmony within the body
  • LomiLomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage healing experience that harmonizes the body, mind, and spirit, leading to a positive effect on all body systems
  • Craniosacral Therapy is a technique that uses light touch to examine the central nervous system and relieve tension within that system to promote feelings of well-being

Hi there!  My name is Allie Ucich. Here's a little bit about me.

I am a University of New Hampshire graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Throughout the years of experience gained working with different populations, I always desired more hands-on work in the healing business. With an interest in anatomy and physical activity, I wanted to help people holistically by combining my studies and passion. I started this path by working at a physical therapy clinic to get a better sense of functional movement and kinesiology. Then I moved my studies to Pacific College of Health and Science and became a Certified Massage Therapist to create a hybrid approach to healing.

I want to use manual therapy to help people with injuries and athletes recover faster to reach their goals and potential. I strive to keep active bodies moving.

When I'm not in school or working, I enjoy being active with my friends and family by hiking, playing pickleball, and running around with my two nieces. When not out and about, I also enjoy reading a good book (open to recommendations!) or watching a funny show with my cat cuddled up next to me.

I look forward to being a part of your health and wellness journey!
